I really like the water filter system, bought on request of my daughter who has one. The issue I am having with filter is - each time I turn faucet on, I get very dark gray water for about a minute. This was installed over a month ago and each time I use it, I have to run the gray water out. Two times I have let the faucet run for a minimum of 15 minutes - nonstop - instructions suggested one time. But after 2 times, I am still getting gray water each and every time I turn on the faucet. Such a waste of water for me.I purchased this and installed it in June 2010, with the matching Everpure faucet. We have been changing the Everpure filters as directed, every 6 months to year. In January 2013 the water flow came down to a slow trickle, and it is very frustrating to try to use it. I had a plumber look at it and he says the filtration system needs to be replaced. Really disappointed, as for the price and brand name you would think this would last more than a couple of years. I won't be purchasing this system again.**update**I contacted Everpure shortly after this and they agreed to replace the system. We ended up using it from 2013 until recently with no problems. I forgot I had written this review and now I just saw it, so I thought it right to update it to 4 stars.Located under the sink in kitchen. We use it for drinking, coffee, cooking, rinsing food and veggies. You get what you pay for, and this filter system is worth every dollar. Our drinking water tastes great and it's done wonders for the taste of our coffee. It tastes like a barista made it :). Would highly recommend! It was easy to install and appears to improve water clarity and taste. This system came with all the pieces you would need to install. It came with Parts so you can take from an existing line this was very helpful made insulation veryWorks well. I had some issues with it not sealing when installed the first time. Worried a bit about that, but took it off the wall and reinstalled the filter. Then it stayed sealed. No issues with leaking. You get what you pay for! I used Culligan and that's no comparison! Plus 1000 gallons or 11 months. No other adapters to buy and guess.Have been using it for 20 yearscadeau a ma fille.
