I purchased this system for our new home and I’ve been thoroughly disappointed! First of all, the pressure gauges that came with the system would not work due to the fittings being improperly installed by the manufacturer. To their credit, after several contacts with them, they sent new ones that worked well. The biggest problem was that I simply could not get the fittings between the different housing units to stop leaking. No matter what I did, they leaked. I took them apart three different times, using different types of sealant each time, and they still leaked. Finally, I gave up and bought an iSpring whole house water filter system and the difference in quality between the two products was astounding. The iSpring system is far superior and I easily installed it the first time without any leaks. I would NOT recommend the Max Water system to anyone. The only reason I even gave it one star is due to the fact that I had to in order to post this review.
