Great product and shippingEasy to install but book showed more steps to clear the line—I skipped that but not sure if I should haveNoneLowest price on the market right now! Lower than buying direct from manufacturer which is how I’ve always bought them in the past. I took the time to shop pricing online this time around & pleasantly surprised finding Amazon carrying at lowest price!Fast delivery!! I didn’t have to wait 2+ weeks to receive like when I order from Manufacturer!I love RO water & I drink A LOT of water!I drink 3Liters of water a day or 2 of the largest water bottles sold by Aquafina, as an example. I love drinking water & have used reverse osmosis water systems since 2005 if not longer! I’ve installed RO water filtration systems in every home I’ve owned!! Can’t live without it at this point! The complete water systems are sold direct from Watts or I have bought from Costco in the past & now Amazon carries the entire system also!!!S Orange County has extremely hard water!!!! The city where we live provides the worst water in OC, making RO water systems a MUST! Not to mention, it tastes AMAZING! From some reason, RO water tastes amazing in a glass vs a plastics water bottle. No impurities in water drinking from a glass. For people who don’t think they like water, need to try this system in their house! It’s easy to install for anyone with basic plumbing experience! Not to mention HEALTH BENEFITS of RO water filtering out all impurities! I use for everything from drinking water to cooking & even plant watering!VALUE IS AMAZING when considering the cost of buying bottled water vs filling up a container at your home that often tastes better than store bought bottled water.I’M NOW A WATER SNOB!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!TASTEVALUE LOWER THAN DIRECT FROM MANUF!HEALTH BENEFITSSUPER EASY TO INSTALL!FAST DELIVERY!in Oct 2021 our water started tasting 'off' so replaced the membrane and all filters (every 6 months for pre filter & sediment filter) and the water was fine. Fast forward to July 2022 and the r/o is not making water in sufficient quantities. Check online and confirm that the tank is not the issue, water pressure is good, pull out membrane and find that shaking it results in gray chunks falling out of the filter. Not sure what would cause that since the prior membrane worked for 5 years with no issues. Any help or advise would be appreciated. New membrane works, but the level of water available is still not as previous....PRODUCT WORKS LIKE A DREAM AND YOU HAVE MARVELOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE ALWAYSWe are such maniacs about cleaning up the city water that we have depended upon the Watts Reverse Osmosis system for years. How do we know it works? We also have a distiller, so we distilled a gallon of municipal city water and the residue at the bottom of the carafe looked like brown coffee and smelled metalic. For fun, I distilled a couple of more gallons and gathered the residue in a jar to show the neighbors what they were drinking if they drank three gallons of city water. I resisted the temptation to take it to city hall to share what I had collected and ask if anyone would like to have a nice drink of what the public was exposed to daily. After I cleaned the carafe, we then distilled the reverse osmosis water. The carafe did not need cleaning at the bottem and it took about 10 gallons of water to see a tiny bit of white dust in the bottom of the carate. There was not any metalic odor. This filter snaps into place for easy installation and I can maintain the system on time. We use the reverse osmosis water for clean ice in our whirlpool refrigerator, so clean water is important. Your coffee tastes better too. I hope sharing our experiment will help you decide to use the Watts system. Watts is an American Manufacturer and these filters are made right here in America by Americans. After Hurricane Wilma the officials finally announced that the city water was "Now safe to drink". That was 2005 and we are still laughing. Even if the water is pure when it leaves the plant, think about the old pipes it travels through for miles on end. If you are still unconvinced, get a distiller and see what unfiltered water leaves behind in residue. We have trusted Watts products for many years. By the way, the filtration system does not use electricity, so if the water plant is running after a hurricane your house will have filtered water even if the electricity is out. Consequently, your watts reverse osmosis will continue to clean your water for consumption during an emergency, which in incredibly important for your health at such a stressful time. We give Watts a five! The product looked exactly like the filters I needed to replace. Same brand; same description; same colors. I could not get the filters to stay in the housing device. They kept falling out. I didn't know what I was doing wrong. I got on YouTube to try to find the answer, and there they were again. Same brand, same description, same colors. But I could not get those filters into the housing device. I finally had my "AHA!" moment, and put the old filter next to the new filter. The one from Amazon is on the left. The one I need is on the right. The description is not at all clear for novices like me. It looked like a duck. It walked like a duck, but it was NOT a duck. I searched Amazon for what I needed, but couldn't find it. Had to purchase it from a different vendor. The description needs to be more clear. Perhaps a picture like the one above with the cap off will help future buyers. I still LOVE Amazon! It's been a God-send during this pandemic. If you have the more traditional Premier RO system — the larger cartridge system that can take over an hour to replace, you might wish to consider switching to this newer system. Especially if you have it installed in a confined space such as under a kitchen sink! I had a plumber do the reinstall which took him a good hour to do. Wouldn’t attempt this if you are not familiar with plumbing. Also, as there is no motor attached, you will need to rely on straight water pressure. Took a leap of faith that a 20 ft. run to the fridge water dispenser would not be too long and that water pressure alone would be enough. Glad to say it works o.k. — although the tank doesn’t refill as fast. Not a problem though, I have found, if there are time gaps between when you need to use the fridge water dispenser. Used the newer system for over a year now. Works well and now spend only five minutes swapping our cartridges when the Premier schedule requires it. Very pleased overall!Price on par with the same bundle from Costco Canada. This pack should last a year, if you’re seeing your water pressure reduce any faster double check the hardness of your water. Before installing my water softener this bundle only lasted 3 months tops!Apparently this green R/O membrane cartridge has a life of anywhere between 2 and 5 years depending on local water condition but this was not clearly printed on the cartridge. Moreover, there is no indicator of any kind on the cartridge warning user it is nearing its end...this is the most expensive of the 4 cartridges!Easy install & long lasting. Note: if your water pressure drops to a trickle - say after maybe dispensing 1 or 2 cups - IT’S NOT THE FILTERS … just use a bicycle pump to refill the air bladder in the holding tanks. I like Watts!Had this system permanently installed 8 years ago for a great price and the filters were still reasonably priced. Now I have to pay almost 3 days worth of work just to pay for filters....
